<reviewbody>it took me a long time to find such a good quality copy of this interview, and even longer to find it in some format other than realaudio.

i wanted to get this interview out there for people to be able to download it and burn it on cd (which is impossible with real).

anyway, the review:
elliott seems kinda nervous at first, but quickly warms up by the time he finishes the second song (he makes a comment about "needing to drink his coffee")
great, priceless, definitely AT LEAST listen to this one if you've never heard it. wonderful needle in the hay, angeles</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>this seems to be before Nic Harcourt became the host of KCRW's "Morning Becomes Eclectic" or maybe Nic was sick this day, as the host is not his voice. Elliot seems nervous and introspective / depressed for sure during the interview. This is my first exposure to elliot's music and I know that he committed suicide eventually. It's a shame he ended his life when he had such great music to share. at least he lives on in the archives here and elsewhere where his music was recorded and freely shared. I especially liked "Needle in the hay". the sound quality is really nice and it's a nice snapshot of elliot's music back in the mid-late 1990's.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>I couln't find this anywhere, not even at KCRW (but that's why we keep archives, right?) Even more than the music, this is a precious snapshot of the man as he was, shy, humble, brilliant! A must-have for any serious fan. -xovd</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Nic Harcourt wasn't sick that day.... & he wasn't always the host of Morning Becomes Eclectic. The person you heard was Chris Douridas who hosted the show before Nic did. And IMHO, did it better.</reviewbody>
