<reviewbody>download this gorgeous show right now- Jerry's pedal steel on LLR alone is worth it- the Dark Star>Sugar Mag is effin hot, the Good Lovin has a sick minor jam in it...Just get out 4 CDs, and do it! Wonderful, rich sound, by the way...</reviewbody>

    <reviewbody>Revision to the below:

After downloading and listening to most of this, I'm sorry to say the sound ranges from barely to not at all listenable. It's muddy all the way through. The keyboards and even the drums dissolve into a mush. There are pitch warbling spots and dropouts, including two really nasty, long ones in Truckin' and Dark Star. Worst of all, I couldn't make out hardly a word Pigpen was singing during Good Lovin', and finally had to turn it off. I'll stick with my very speedy soundboard until a true upgrade comes along.

I already know this show is awesome, since I've had a speedy tape of the key parts of it (Truckin, Dark Star, Sugar Mag, Good Lovin, etc.) for years. The fast jam in Dark Star is ecstatic, and Pig's at his salacious best on the Good Lovin' medley (hop in the saddle and ride). Listening to it now, it's not as crispy as a SB, but quite listenable and very good for a 72 audience tape. I will be downloading this one when I get a block of free time.</reviewbody>
    <reviewtitle>Gonna download this one soon!</reviewtitle>

<reviewbody>I was really bummed when this run of soundboards got pulled from the archive... it was a few months before the entire plug got pulled, all these Europe shows and also the Fillmore West 1969 shows which were recently released, got pulled at the same time along with 8-27-72 and some others.... so a long term release strategy may be in the works for this show, which would be wonderful because this is one of the hottest of the tour, right out of the gate with Jerry feeling really inspired. Classic Dark Star and also one of my favorite Playin in the Bands. I highly recommend downloading this above-average-for-1972 audience recording until a nice mixed release emerges</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>This is an unbelievable show during a legendary and great European tour. As other have noted, the Dark Star (and transition to Sugar Mags) is amazing and the Good Lovin' "sandwich" is off the chain. Also, note the China Cat tease at the beginning of GDTRFB. </reviewbody>
